Texas A&M, Houston Joining For In-State Satellite Camp To Keep "Texas Recruits Home"

Two of the top college football programs in Texas are joining forces for an in-state satellite camp.

Houston and Texas A&M will host joint camps in the Dallas and East Texas areas, Cougars' coach Tom Herman announced on Twitter today.

Herman says the goal is to keep "Texas recruits home."

Texas is one of the most-fertile recruiting areas in the country. It's second only to Florida, probably.

Of the top 25 players in 247Sports' Texas state rankings for 2016, 15 committed to an in-state school.
