Texas A&M President Says He Has "Complete Support" For Kevin Sumlin

Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin has been under a bit of fire despite leading his team to an eight-win season.

Kevin Sumlin has not won more than eight regular season games in one year since the Aggies went 10-2 in 2012, his first year in College Station. After Texas A&M lost three of its last four games this season finishing the year at 8-4, Sumlin has been under a bit of fire.

Despite A&M's second consecutive stumble down the stretch, the university's president Michael Young has complete support for Sumlin.

Here is what Young told the Texas Tribune on Thursday:

"Kevin Sumlin is our coach and has my complete support and our athletic director's complete support."

He also went on to say this:

"He has had by far the best record of any coach who has moved a team from a less-challenging conference to a more-challenging conference."

It will be interesting to see the mood in Aggie land if the Aggies were to fall in their bowl game.
