The Texas A&M Aggies look set to lose a member of their running back committee with Charles Strong Jr. poised to transfer.

According to 247Sports, the freshman fullback is officially transferring to Troy of the Sun Belt Conference, and has been listed on the Trojans' official roster.

The move is a long-time coming, as Strong had reportedly been in the NCAA transfer portal since the middle of the season.

Strong appeared in just one game in 2018. He had four carries for 12 yards against Northwestern State.

However, his workload seemed unlikely to increase in 2019 even with leading rusher Trayveon Williams leaving early for the 2019 NFL draft.

By leaving Texas A&M, Strong joins several other Aggies who have entered the transfer portal.

Per the report, wide receiver Klyde Chriss is off to Prairie View A&M, safety Jordan Moore is heading to Houston, while graduate quarterback Nick Starkel and receiver Montell Parker both have unknown destinations.
