If you like offense, you’ll enjoy this game. The offensive explosions might just be a bit one-sided. Through two weeks of the college football season, no team has been better with the ball than Texas A&M. The Aggies throttled South Carolina in Week 1, 52-28, and had little trouble with Lamar in Week 2, winning, 73-3.
Rice, in its lone game of the season, was blown out by Notre Dame, 48-17. The Owls allowed Fighting Irish quarterback Everett Golson to throw for nearly 300 yards and Brian Kelly’s team to rush for 281 yards. There should be a lot of marching up and down the field in this contest.

Time: 9 p.m. E.T.
Location: College Station, Texas, Kyle Field
TV Channel: ESPN2
Betting line: Texas A&M -32 (via 5Dimes)
Prediction: This game will be a blowout. It’s really just a matter of how many points the Aggies are going to score and how big the margin of victory will be. Expect quarterback Kenny Hill, now a serious Heisman candidate, to perform similarly to how Golson played against the Owls in Week 1.
Will Texas A&M cover the spread? The Aggies beat South Carolina by 24 points and Lamar by 70 points, so it seems fair to say that Kevin Sumlin’s squad will have little difficulty beating the Owls by more than 32 points.
