One of the most successful NFL Draft-related segments that ESPN has put out the past few years is Jon Gruden's QB Camp. Gruden, a former NFL head coach who is now one of the network's most respected analysts, usually breaks down some film with each player, but also does his best to ask the league's future gunslingers some interesting questions. Thursday, Gruden got straight to the point with former Texas A&M star Johnny Manziel - he wanted to know all about the nickname "Johnny Football".
Manziel's response? He thinks it originated on a TexAgsmessage board.
This doesn't come as a huge surprise, considering how much the Internet loves college football. But it is pretty cool to think that something so popular originated on an online forum.
