Watch: Texas A&M Might Have Gotten Screwed By This Non-Interference Call

Controversial no call in Texas A&M vs. Wake Forest.

Did Texas A&M get shafted at the end of the Belk Bowl?

A wild 2017 Belk Bowl ended moments ago with Wake Forest outlasting Texas A&M 55-52. There wasn't a lot of defense in this one, but there was a ton of excitement and some mild controversy.

The controversy centered around this play on A&M's final drive. On 1st-and-10 from his own 49-yard line, Aggie quarterback Nick Starkel looked deep for wide receiver Jhamon Ausbon. Ausbon got tangled up with a Wake Forest defender, but no flag was thrown.

Here is the play. You be the judge: a good non-call, or did the refs miss this one?

The reaction on Twitter was swift, as it always is. The immediate consensus was the zebras screwed this one up.

Texas A&M followed up that play with a delay of game penalty and three straight incomplete passes to end the game.

How might things have been different if the refs threw the yellow hankie on the pass to Ausbon?
