A Vanderbilt Fan Is Driving Everyone Crazy At The College World Series

Vanderbilt is taking on Louisville today at the College World Series in Omaha. It is the opening game for both teams at the event.

One Commodore fan in particular is making himself noticed, and not in a good way. The "Vandy whistler" is back.

As the Tennessean notes, the "Vandy whistler," whose shrieking has gone viral during the SEC Tournament and in previous trips to Omaha, is actually two separate people: Preacher Franklin and Jeff Pack.

Pack won't be in attendance during the early part of the CWS, but Franklin is there and he is loud. His whistling has gotten on the nerves of plenty of television viewers.

Last year we had the staring and pointing Arkansas fan. Now we have whistling Vandy fans.

If the Commodores keep advancing, we'll have to see (or hear, more accurately) if both Pack and Franklin are in the stands together.

Right now, Vandy leads Louisville 1-0 in the second inning.
