Vanderbilt has unveiled its new logo that's going to go into effect in 2023.

Since 2008, Vanderbilt has had a black and gold star with a white V in the middle of it, but that's no longer going to be the case.

The new logo is a black and gold "V" with the inside of it painted gold.

The college sports world doesn't like this new logo.

One fan even compared it to the History Channel logo.

"Here's the thing about the new Vanderbiltlogo: No," another fan tweeted.

Now we have a comparison to someone using WordArt to make a logo.

Perhaps the reactions will get more positive as time passes. Right now, that looks pretty unlikely.
