Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy Reacts To FOX Sports Lawsuit

Barstool's Dave Portnoy is no stranger to legal battles and controversy.

And as the explosive allegations made against Joy Taylor, Skip Bayless and others in the recent FOX Sports lawsuit continue to gain momentum in their 48th hour — the sports media founder is putting his foot down.

Many have weighed-in on the legal document filed by former FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji, which accuses Bayless of offering her $1.5 million to have sex with him and Taylor of having relations with network colleagues to further her growth in the company.

However, Portnoy is calling B.S.

"My [expletive] meter is on a hundred million trillion in this Fox sports lawsuit," the Barstool Sports owner said on X. "Just accusing people of [expletive] doesn't make it facts. Time will tell. I will say I think all the accused shouldn't listen to their lawyers + should loudly be defending themselves if they are innocent."

He also commented on Taylor's alleged romantic relationship with "The Facility's" Emmanuel Acho. Saying he doesn't even understand why the host was named in the lawsuit.

"Who [expletive] cares if they had a consensual relationship or not? And since when is Acho some heavyweight who gets people promoted?" Portnoy asked. "I honestly don't even know why Joy Taylor is in the lawsuit? Cause she was mean to her hairdresser yet simultaneously spilled her guts to her? Makes ZERO sense."

"Again I got no inside info on this lawsuit. I just think it stinks to high heavens and feels like a shakedown so I'd reserve judgement before burying people," he concluded.

The suit alleges that Taylor used her "sexuality" to secure higher positions at FOX's network, while also making disparaging comments about Faraji along racial lines.

Not only that but Joy is also accused of premeditating sexual assault claims against a network exec if she didn't get what she wanted out of their relationship.

Taylor's character has been attacked from nearly every angle over the past couple of days. But it's important to remember that these are all unproven accusations as of right now.

For now though, it appears she'll remain on-air while this is all being sorted out.
