ESPN Analyst Takes Shot At Emmanuel Acho Over Joy Taylor Drama
It's been a wild week for Fox Sports personalities Emmanuel Acho and Joy Taylor, that's for sure. They were recently mentioned in a concerning lawsuit filed by Noushin Faraji.
Faraji, a former hairstylist for Fox Sports, accused Taylor of having an intimate relationship with Acho to further her career. They eventually became co-hosts before getting their own shows. Former FS1 personality Marcellus Wiley claims the allegation about Acho and Taylor's relationship is true. He said, "Part of the reason it was suggested that they do a show together is because of these allegations in the lawsuit that they were sleeping together, conspiring to get that to go."
On this Wednesday's edition of "The Pat McAfee Show," Acho's name was mentioned during a discussion about the AP NFL Awards. ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky couldn't help but take a shot at the current allegations surrounding Acho. The former NFL quarterback said, "Hey, let’s not have any uncomfortable conversations, alright?"
Orlovsky had a smirk on his face when he made this remark. It's not a coincidence that he said uncomfortable conversation. Most people believe it was a reference to Acho's book, "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man."
After Orlovsky made this comment, McAfee sent the rest of the crew into a frenzy with his response.
“Dan! Wow," McAfee replied. "You hang ‘em, I’ll bang ‘em! Whoa, whoa, whoa, I was talking about baseballs."
Even though there are allegations about his alleged relationship with Taylor behind closed doors, Acho wasn't named as a defendant in Faraji's lawsuit.
Acho remains the host of "The Facility" on FS1 despite all the online speculation. As for Taylor, she's still running "Speak" along with Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce and Michael Irvin.
It's possible Fox Sports will release a statement on this matter once it gathers enough information. For now, it's been awfully quiet.
