Stephen A. Smith is one of the biggest sports media personalities, but he has far bigger aspirations.

The ESPN analyst detailed his goals during Tuesday's appearance on The Tamron Hall Show

"I'm not satisfied with what I've accomplished on television in the world of sports…I want to end my career being recognized as arguably the greatest television talent in history," Smith said, via Awful Announcing. "That's what I want to do. That's what I want to accomplish."

However, not everyone believes shouting about sports puts Smith near the conversation.

"I think they actually do know bounds," a fan said of Smith's accomplishments. "Being a loud media personality isn't exactly breaking new ground."

"Nowhere close to being the greatest television talent," another fan claimed.

"He won't be but I appreciate the aspirations," a fan wrote. "We can't all be the greatest."

"And I want to win the Powerball. Our odds are about the same," a fan quipped.

While Smith has already expanded beyond First Take to start a podcast and write a book, he also wants to pursue acting. He hopes to reach the level of noted filmmakers and producers such as Spike Lee, Tyler Perry, and Jerry Bruckheimer.

"You got to put in the work," Smith said, "and I intend to do just that."

It's not like this is the loftiest thought Smith has shared. Last year, he said he'd "strongly consider" running for President of the United States if he had a shot of winning.

Nobody can fault someone for aspiring to be the best, but Smith is setting the bar awfully high for someone who screams about the Lakers or Cowboys on a debate show.
