Fox Sports Makes Decision On Joy Taylor After Lawsuit
Fox Sports appears to have made a decision on Joy Taylor amid the 37-year-old sports media personality being named in a lawsuit by a former coworker.
Former Fox Sports hairdresser Noushin Faraji filed a lawsuit against the network. She accuses the network of sexual harassment, mistreatment and improper behavior. Both Taylor and former Fox Sports 1 personality Skip Bayless were named in the lawsuit. Bayless is accused of making unwanted advances toward Faraji and offering her $1.5 million for sex.
Taylor, who joined the network in 2016, is accused of having workplace relationships with two coworkers, who allegedly helped her land prominent roles.
Despite the lawsuit, though, Taylor is still appearing on the air on Monday afternoon.
Joy, who is the younger sister of former NFL star Jason Taylor, was back on the air on Monday afternoon.
The Fox Sports 1 personality was on her show, "Speak," with Keyshawn Johnson, Paul Pierce and Michael Irvin.
Sports fans were quick to react.
"How is Joy Taylor allowed on television today 🤣🤣🤣," one fan wrote.
"FS1 told Joy and Acho not to address the lawsuit. I’m just surprised Joy Taylor actually showed up today," one fan added.
"Absolute insane decision by fox to have joy taylor on TV tonight. but who is surprised," one fan added.
"Surprised to see Joy Taylor on tv rn 😂😂 she is bold," one fan added.
Taylor was also accused by Faraji of telling her to "get over it" when Fox Sports 1 executive Charlie Dixon allegedly groped her at a party. Taylor is accused in the lawsuit of being in an intimate relationship with Dixon, who helped her land roles at Fox Sports 1.
Taylor has not yet responded to the lawsuit. She did not mention anything regarding it at the top of her show on Monday afternoon.
Fox Sports says that it takes the accusations seriously and will be investigating everything.
“We take these allegations seriously and have no further comment at this time given this pending litigation," the network said in a statement on Sunday.
Fox Sports 1's "Speak" airs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. E.T.
