Troy Aikman Had 2-Word Reaction To Erin Andrews' All-Red Outfit
FOX sideline reporter Erin Andrews was at AT&T Stadium last Sunday to cover an NFC showdown between the New Orleans Saints and Dallas Cowboys.
As far as the game was concerned, it wasn't very competitive. The Saints hit the ground running and never took their foot off the gas, defeating the Cowboys by a final score of 44-19. Alvin Kamara led the charge for New Orleans with 180 scrimmage yards and four total touchdowns.
Unsurprisingly, Andrews did a great job reporting for FOX from the sideline. After all, she has been outstanding for well over a decade.
Even though Week 2 is already in the rearview mirror, Andrews shared a photo of her outfit from the Cowboys-Saints game on Friday night. She decided to go with an all-red look.
Aikman, who worked with Andrews for several years, commented on her latest Instagram post. The Hall of Famer wrote, "My girl!"
Aikman and Andrews developed a really strong working relationship at FOX. Leaving her for ESPN's "Monday Night Football" wasn't an easy decision.
“The toughest call I had to make was to Erin Andrews, to tell her I’ve leaving,” Aikman said. “She’s like a sister to both of us.”
Andrews will be back in Dallas this Sunday to cover the Cowboys' showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.
Aikman, meanwhile, will call an AFC clash between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars.
