Which college football programs are the true "blue bloods" of the sport as we head into the 2022 offseason?

In college basketball, it's a pretty short list, with Duke, North Carolina, Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana and UCLA making the list for most fans.

College football has a longer list.

According to a poll conducted by Pick Six Previews, there are eight "blue blood" programs in college football.

They are:

  • Alabama
  • Ohio State
  • Oklahoma
  • Notre Dame
  • Nebraska
  • Michigan
  • USC
  • Texas

Many fans will likely take issue with a program like Nebraska making the list, considering the Huskers haven't been nationally competitive in some time.

However, the Huskers have five national championships and have been truly dominant across multiple decades.

How would you list out college football's true "blue blood" programs?
