It's that time of year when NFL coaches are asked about their favorite Thanksgiving foods.

On Monday morning, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was asked what his favorite side dish is with the holiday coming up in three days. He was pretty quick with his answer.

"Oh boy. It would be hard for me to turn down any type of potatoes. I'll go with whatever -- mashed potatoes, scalloped, baked ... Load 'em up. Throw some butter on there. Starch me up."

Usually, Thanksgiving is all about the turkey, but in Belichick's household, it looks to be all about the potatoes.

It's no surprise that he's in a good mood this week following New England's fifth straight win. The Patriots went to Atlanta on Thursday night and shut out the Falcons, 25-0.

The win got them to 7-4 overall, and first place in the AFC East after the Buffalo Bills fell to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Quarterback Mac Jones continued his stellar rookie campaign as he finished with 207 yards through the air and one touchdown pass. New England's defense also played a big story yet again as it intercepted Matt Ryan twice and held him to just 153 yards.

The Patriots' next contest will be against the Titans this coming Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
