The New Orleans Saints are only a couple of minutes into their game against the New England Patriots, but they've already suffered a tough injury blow.

New Orleans has lost star offensive tackle Terron Armstead.

Armstead, a three-time Pro Bowler on the offensive line, was down with an apparent injury before leaving the field with medical trainers.

"Saints star LT Terron Armstead was down on the field and went straight to the locker room with medical attention," ESPN's Field Yates reported.

Armstead appeared to suffer his injury on a Jameis Winston pass attempt. "Here’s the play where Terron Armstead got hurt. Appears to be an arm injury as Tony Jones Jr. picks up the block and his arm gets pinned," Jeff Nowak tweeted.

Hopefully it's nothing serious.

The Saints and the Patriots are tied, 0-0, early in the first quarter of Sunday afternoon's game.
