Jones, who is seeking a new contract, was arguably the best player on the field for the Cardinals this Sunday. The only other player who has an argument for that distinction is Kyler Murray, who had 289 passing yards, 20 rushing yards and five total touchdowns.
During this Wednesday's media session, Murray decided to take a playful jab at Jones. The dual-threat quarterback claims Jones is an "unorthodox guy" who doesn't look good without a shirt on.
"He's a real unorthodox guy," Murray told reporters while laughing. "He takes his shirt and doesn't look too good. He makes plays on Sunday, though. He gets after the quarterback, he's instinctual, and he's an expert at rushing the passer. I'm glad he's on my team."
Murray was obviously joking about Jones not looking too good without his shirt on. That being said, Jones had a pretty funny response to Murray's comments.
"Somebody tell baby yoda the truth about his new hairdo," Jones wrote on Twitter.
We'd imagine there are some inside jokes being made behind the scenes in Arizona.
As long as the Cardinals continue their winning ways, we doubt Murray will mind being called "baby yoda" by Jones - especially when the veteran pass rusher is playing at an elite level.
