College Football World Reacts To Embarrassing UConn Video

It's been a pretty crazy weekend for the UConn football program.
UConn opened its season on Saturday. The Huskies opened the season with an embarrassing loss, falling to Holy Cross, 38-28, on Saturday.
About 24 hours after the game, UConn head coach Randy Edsall announced he will be retiring following the 2021 season.
“After 17 years of service at the University of Connecticut as its head football coach, I’ve decided to retire at the end of the season,” Edsall’s statement reads.
“Back in 2017 I made a commitment to the University, but felt it was better to make this announcement now rather than the end of the year to allow the University ample time to prepare for the future of the football program.”
“All my focus and attention for the rest of the season will be to prepare our players and coaches to go out and win as many games as possible.”
UConn's football program is trending on social media for another reason, though. This video:

"It’s almost like nobody cares about this program anymore…. Including the players," one fan tweeted.
"Holy Cross really wanted that game and UCONN really didn't. Was hard to watch if you were a Huskies' fan," another fan added.
"That’s what you get for bringing back the guy that left you on the runway," one fan wrote.
Former UConn quarterback Dan Orlovsky reacted to the state of the program on Sunday.
"Program needs someone to lead it that it’s personal to. That can recruit talent with a vision. That will pull the absolute best out the athletes and won’t be scared to coach them hard," he tweeted.
