Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle La'el Collins missed the entire 2020 season because of a hip injury. Unfortunately, he hasn't been able to dodge the injury bug this year either.

According to ESPN reporter Todd Archer, the Cowboys will be without Collins for this Saturday's practice because of a stinger issue.

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy doesn't seem too worried about this injury, telling reporters "I think it’s part of some of the things he’s dealt with in the past, so based on the information I have currently, it doesn’t seem to be a long-term concern."

This is the second time this month that Collins has sat out of practice because of a shoulder issue. A little over a week ago, he left practice early is because he was dealing with neck/shoulder soreness.

With the regular season roughly two weeks away, the Cowboys will most likely take a cautious approach to Collins' situation. They know the offense can't reach its full potential without him on the field.

Since joining the Cowboys in 2015, Collins has made 61 starts. When healthy, he has been an absolute force on the offensive line.

If Collins is unable to suit up for Dallas' season opener, Terence Steele would take his place. He started in 14 games last season due to all the injuries in the trenches.
