ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes had a brutally honest comment on New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees this week.

Brees, 41, has not played well this season. The aging quarterback is not throwing the ball well down field and he has not been very accurate.

Kimes believes that if Drew Brees wasn't Drew Brees, the Saints would have moved on to their backup, Jameis Winston.

"If that was not Drew Brees out there, if it was any other quarterback playing the way he has, not only through Weeks 1 and 2 but the end of last season, you have to remember, this has been going on for a while, Jameis would be in there," she said on NFL Live today.

ESPN NFL analyst Ryan Clark didn't really disagree. He said that Brees will be the reason the Saints don't win the Super Bowl.

"The Saints will not win the Super Bowl on Drew Brees' arm," he said.

Brees, meanwhile, knows he needs to play better, but he's not paying attention to the stats.

“You know one of the statistics that was thrown out after the game was the yards per attempt or something like that,” Brees said. “There are many statistics I do not pay one bit of attention to, and that would be one of them.”

New Orleans is set to take on Green Bay on Sunday night.
