If Ezekiel Elliott Is Going To Get Traded, One Team Makes The Most Sense

Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys do not appear to be any further along in their contract negotiations despite the fact that we're now two weeks away from opening night for the 2019 NFL season. Some fans are starting to wonder if Tony Pollard really is going to be the team's starting running back in week one.
Elliott and Jerry Jones don't appear to be on the best of terms - especially after Jones' "Zeke who" comment earlier this week. While it's still likely that some kind of deal gets done - either before the season or during it - it is possible that the Cowboys decide to move on from Elliott.
If they do move on, they could trade him. One team probably makes the most sense.
The Indianapolis Colts, who were mentioned as potential suitors for Le'Veon Bell this past offseason, have a championship-caliber squad. Elliott could certainly put them over the top.
The Colts head into the season with Marlon Mack as their starting running back - but Zeke would be an upgrade. If Andrew Luck can get healthy, the trio of Luck, Zeke and wideout T.Y. Hilton could be a lot for teams to deal with.
Again, it's a long shot that the Cowboys get so fed up here that they have to make a move. But we've seen crazier things happen in the NFL.
The Cowboys are scheduled to kick off the 2019 season against the New York Giants on September 8. It remains to be seen if Zeke will be on the field with his team.
