Over the weekend, "Friends" star Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles. He was 54 years old.

On Monday, the cast of "Friends" issued a statement on Perry's sudden death. As you'd expect, his former colleagues are devastated right now.

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family," their statement reads. "There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.

"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the statement continues. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

This statement was signed by Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.

According to TMZ, there was no signs of foul play in regards to Perry's death. An investigation into this matter is still ongoing.

"We're told Matthew came home sometime in the AM after a 2-hour round of pickleball, and that he sent his assistant out on errand shortly thereafter," TMZ reported. "We're told when the assistant returned about 2 hours later, he discovered Matthew unresponsive ... and called 911."

Our thoughts are with Perry's loved ones during this difficult time.
