Nearly a week ago, the New York Giants squandered a massive opportunity to win a game over a division rival.

New York looked to be en route to a big win over the Washington Football Team on Thursday night. Unfortunately, a stellar performance from quarterback Daniel Jones was all for nought.

Washington won on a last-second field goal, taking down the Giants 30-29. Just a few days after the game came to an end, the Giants announced a few roster moves.

According to Giants insider Ralph Vacchiano, the Giants cut tight end Ryan Izzo from the team's practice squad. In a corresponding move, the team added former Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys safety Steven Parker.

The New England Patriots drafted Izzo in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL draft after a solid career with the Florida State Seminoles.

He spent three seasons with the Patriots before signing with the Houston Texans earlier this offseason. After being waived from Houston, Izzo landed on the Giants practice squad before the 2021 season kicked off.

Now he's looking for a new home.
