Gisele Bundchen Furious With 'Rumors' About Tom Brady Divorce

Late last week in an interview with the New York Times, supermodel Gisele Bundchen broke her silence on rumors that she cheated on former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

Rumors emerged suggested she had an intimate relationship with her trainer Joaquim Valente. She called the rumors "a lie" and made it clear she didn't want her private life to be a tabloid anymore - following the very public divorce from Tom Brady.

“I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid,” Bündchen said. “I don’t want to open myself up to all of that.”

She was furious with the idea that she cheated on Brady and said it's something women "get blamed" for after leaving an "unhealthy" relationship.

“This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful,” Bündchen said. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”

“No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship,” she added.

Bundchen later admitted she's dating "someone" but did not reveal that person's name.

“This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first,” she said. “It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”

The supermodel allegedly started dating Valente in June 2023 following her divorce from Brady in November 2022.
