In a video some golf fans thought they might never get to see again, 15-time major winner Tiger Woods was finally hitting the ball again.

On Sunday, Woods released a video where he's at a tee, hitting the ball. The video comes nearly nine months after the serious car crash he got into that resulted in severe fractures in his legs.

When the accident first occurred, it appeared initially that Woods' golf career might be over. But the No. 1 earner in PGA Tour history has been determined to get back on the course. He's been rehabbing intensely and there's a growing believe that he could be fully recovered by the middle of next year.

Needless to say, the video is going viral and has the entire golf world buzzing. Above everything, people are simply glad to see Woods back with a club in his hands:

It was only a few weeks ago when Tiger was given the green light to resume golf activity. To see him out there like that is absolutely heartwarming.

There may still be a long road ahead before Tiger can go out and compete in the PGA Tour. But while an appearance at Augusta next year seems like a stretch, it's not the fantasy it might have been considered a few months ago.

Will we see Tiger Woods at any of the majors in 2022?

Good luck on your recovery, Tiger!
