Greg McElroy Wants To See Ohio State, USC Playing Every Season

USC and UCLA are set to join the Big Ten in 2024, which will make for some new and exciting football matchups each season.

However, one team that USC won't play every season is Ohio State. The Big Ten released its schedule for the 2024 and 2025 seasons last week and only has USC playing Ohio State during the 2025 season.

College football analyst Greg McElroy isn't a fan of that.

“I wish badly we could have figured out a way to get Ohio State and USC on the schedule every year,” he said, (first transcribed by Saturday Tradition). “Why? Because that game is going to do a mammoth number. Mammoth. And in the television world where eyeballs are everything, I would love to see SC and I’d love to see Ohio State on the field at the same time."

This would likely be a primetime game each season if the conference decides to make a change.

That said, you can't please everyone when the conference is expanding and taking away divisions. Heck, Ohio State, and Penn State won't play each other every season, which will also be very weird.

This upcoming season will be the final one where we see the Big Ten East and Big Ten West.
