49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo isn't worried about what can happen in 2022.

There have been a lot of rumors surrounding Garoppolo's future with the team this season, mainly because quarterback Trey Lance was drafted third overall in this year's draft.

Despite that, Garoppolo has started 10 of 11 games for the 49ers and has kept them in contention for a wild card spot.

After San Francisco's 34-26 win over Minnesota, Garoppolo was asked if he had seen Ian Rapoport's report that the team still plans to trade him after this season.

“No I didn’t,” Garoppolo said, via NBCSportsBayArea.com. “I was worried about the game. I appreciate the heads up.”

This isn't surprising as players don't pay attention to this kind of stuff leading up to a big game.

Garoppolo was sharp in that contest as he finished with 230 yards through the air with one touchdown. He also completed 17-of-26 passes.

That helped the 49ers win their fourth game in the last five weeks after they started out 2-4.

If Garoppolo can keep those types of performances up, there's no doubt San Francisco will be able to get a good package for him in the offseason, if it chooses to go down that route.

Garoppolo overall has 2,342 yards passing with 13 touchdowns and six interceptions thus far.

San Francisco's next game will be against Seattle on Dec. 5 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
