Joe Buck Hilariously Responds To Callout From Buffalo Weatherman
Last night the Buffalo Bills faced off against the Denver Broncos in what turned into an ugly affair.
Denver took down Buffalo by a final score of 23-21 thanks to a last-second field goal. The lasting images of the game saw the Bills with 12 men on the field during a missed field goal opportunity that afforded the Broncos another shot.
However, it was ESPN play-by-play man Joe Buck who stole the headlines for one of his comments during the game. Buck addressed the fans watching from home saying, “It’s a cold night in Buffalo…"
The message irked one Buffalo meteorologist who pointed out it was 46 degrees during the game.
Buck had a hilarious reply on X - formerly known as Twitter - after getting called out.
"I’m fragile," he joked. It’s as clear to me now as the skies over Buffalo last night. Please stop making me feel 'not rugged.' Now, I’m sad. Reality does bite. Taken to task by meteorologist Kevin because 40s and windy (is breezy a better word? What’s the professional cutoff?) makes me feel cold."
Buck eventually went on to satirically ask for forgiveness for his misdeeds, before plugging next week's Monday night showdown.
"I beg your forgiveness," he said. "Should have worn an overcoat!! So I was dumb AND cold! Dammit!! Why didn’t I say CHILLY??! Hope it isn’t cold in KC next Monday. Eagles and Chiefs on MNF!!!!!"
Joe won't be too upset to learn the high in Kansas City next Monday is a balmy 52 degrees.
