Keyshawn Johnson: Bears Should Keep Justin Fields, Draft Marvin Harrison Jr No. 1

The Chicago Bears will have a tough decision to make following the 2023 regular season.

Either keep Justin Fields and commit to him as the franchise quarterback moving forward, or trade the 24-year-old in preparation to select a top prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft, which will be quarterback heavy.

While appearing on Fox Sports Undisputed, former NFL Hall of Famer Keyshawn Johnson gave his thoughts on what the Bears should do, and that's stick with Fields.

“What has he done so egregious, with all the different stuff that’s going on in Chicago, that you would want to move on from him in year 2? Situations and circumstances are important with young quarterbacks. Until you get something and put them around that will make them successful, you are always gonna scratch your head.

“Imagine if he had half of a DJ Moore on the other side of DJ Moore. Imagine what that would look like. Brock Purdy looks like Brock Purdy because he’s got Aiyuk, Kittle, an offensive-minded Shanahan. He’s got (Christian McCaffrey), and Deebo Samuel. The number 1 pick I would go get for him, whether it’s with the 1st pick or the 4th pick, is Marvin Harrison Jr. I’m taking him. I probably would do that at one.”
