The annual Ohio State vs. Michigan State game will be at a critical point in both teams' schedules and will be one of the first primetime games that the Buckeyes have this season.

According to Jerry Emig of Buckeye Notes, the Buckeyes-Spartans game has just received its official kickoff time and TV channel. The game will be featured on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET.

It's the first but certainly not the last game that will be a primetime meeting for Ohio State this season. Whether or not the Spartans get more primetime games remains to be seen though.

Ohio State will also have games against Notre Dame, Penn State, Purdue and - of course - Michigan that are candidates to be featured in primetime as well this coming season.

Last year Ohio State had three primetime games in the regular season - Notre Dame, Toledo and Wisconsin - along with their Peach Bowl game against Georgia that infamously ended at midnight of the new year.

Now that the Big Ten has a TV network deal with NBC, we may very well see a lot more Buckeyes games on their network in primetime.

How many primetime games will Ohio State get in 2023? How many will Michigan State get?
