Kirk Herbstreit is over the moon regarding Dayton's crazy comeback in the NCAA Tournament.

After being down by 17 in the second half against Nevada, Dayton stormed back and won by three, 63-60. Dayton went on a 17-0 run to tie the game and finished the second half on a 24-4 run.

The Flyers were able to make some clutch shots and come up with a big steal with 15.5 seconds to put the game away. Nate Santos hit two big free throws to extend the Flyers' lead to three (63-60) before the Wolf Pack missed a three-pointer at the buzzer.

Herbstreit was going crazy on Twitter once the game finished up.

"UD FLYERS!!!!! Unreal. Down 18 with 7 to play. Couldn’t buy a basket, finished on a 25-4 run to come back and win it! Dayton hoops has such a great history and an incredibly loyal fan base. Congrats to the Flyers and their fans on that shocking comeback," Herbstreit tweeted.

Kirk might be an Ohio State alum, but he's clearly down to show support for the state of Ohio in general, based off his Dayton shoutout.

Next up for the Flyers is a game against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday. A tip-off time has yet to be announced.
