LeBron James is gearing up for the 16th NBA season. The King has been the face of the National Basketball Association since he entered the league, and a decision he makes today will likely change the face of the league.

LeBron will either opt-in to the final year of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, or opt out and likely sign with a different team. He has until 11:59 p.m. ET to make that decision.

Several teams have reportedly made their pitch to Lebron including the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Philadelphia 76ers. James has also been rumored to have interest in the Houston Rockets, or playing with Gregg Popovich in San Antonio.

The rumors don't stop when the King is facing free agency.

ESPN polled its panel of experts to predict where LeBron James will play for the 2018-19 season. Here are the results.

Lakers

60.6

Cavaliers

39.4

It looks like a few on the panel believe the Cavaliers can retain their superstar, at least for one more season.

The new league year begins on July 1, but we'll know before then if LeBron will opt-in or out of his contract with the Cavs. NBA teams can officially sign free agents on July 6.
