LeBron James is among the most durable players in NBA history. He's started to show his age just a bit during these last few years with the Los Angeles Lakers, though.

LeBron missed the first real extended time of his career in 2018-19, his first year with the team. He played just 55 games that season.

The next year, he and Anthony Davis led the team to the NBA Title, winning it all at the bubble in Orlando. He's already cemented his place in Lakers lore with that title, though he seeks more as he continues to chase Michael Jordan's legacy. Last year, LeBron was held to just 45 games with a high ankle injury. The Lakers flamed out in the first round of the playoffs.

Training camp for NBA teams began this week. Speaking to the media, LeBron says he's back to 100-percent, and fully prepared for a run at title No. 5.

"I'm back to 100 percent, as far as my ankle. I feel great heading into camp," LeBron James told ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "I'm super excited to get back on the floor and know the work that I've put in with my body and my game. And I'll translate it to the court."

Anthony Davis, who had even more significant injury struggles last year, is right there with him.

"I feel good," Davis told ESPN. "I had a great offseason of training. Got back to my normal offseason routine with the strength trainer. So, I feel 100 percent healthy and ready to go."

With the aging Lakers roster, health will be a primary concern all year. The fact that the Lakers roster is 100-percent vaccinated, per reports, is another sign that the squad is taking every stride to make sure guys are available just about every night.
