Former star quarterback turned NFL analyst Troy Aikman has his own set of proprietary rankings for the league.

The Hall of Fame quarterback turned FOX analyst publishes his own set of NFL team rankings every week.

Following the conclusion of Week 2, the rankings updated. Here's who Aikman has as the five best teams in the league heading into Week 3.

  1. Denver Broncos
  2. Buffalo Bills
  3. New Orleans Saints
  4. Los Angeles Rams
  5. Philadelphia Eagles

It's an interesting top five, to be sure.

The Broncos at No. 1 is arguably the biggest surprise. Denver is 2-0, led by new starting quarterback, Teddy Bridgewater.

Broncos star Von Miller even compared Bridgewater to Peyton Manning.

“I kind of forgot that I was mic’d up,” Miller said about his comparison. “I don’t like putting stuff out there. That was a moment for me and Teddy, but it’s out there. I don’t want anybody to feel a certain way because I told Teddy that. I told Teddy the truth. He definitely has this this vibe about him that guys want to play for. Guys believe in Teddy. He’s a veteran in this league. He’s sat behind Drew Brees. He was on track to win MVP with the Minnesota Vikings, so he knows how to do it. He carries himself in a way that people want to play for him, and people believe in him.”

The Broncos are set to host the Jets on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 4:05 p.m. E.T.
