NFL Fans Are Obsessed With Eagles' Uniform For Sunday Night
After a tough day against a tough defense in the New York Jets in Week 6, the Philadelphia Eagles face a different type of challenge with the explosive Miami Dolphins offense in Week 7. But they'll be wearing some new threads for that game.
Ahead of their Sunday Night Football game against the Dolphins in Philadelphia, the Eagles are wearing their throwback Kelly Green jerseys, which they wore for more of their history up until the 1990s.
Those Kelly Green jerseys were worn by such Eagles legends as Randall Cunningham, Harold Carmichael, Ron Jaworski and the late-greats Reggie White and Jerome Brown.
So as you might expect, Eagles fans are expecting a big performance out of their team this weekend.
Many fans are saying that it's the best jersey in the league and nothing else comes close. You be the judge:
Week 6 saw the Philadelphia Eagles' high-octane offense held to just 14 points by the New York Jets - their lowest total in a game since January 1.
The Miami Dolphins represent a wildly different challenge though. While the Jets have a good defense, the Dolphins have an offense that is putting up historically great numbers. They dropped 70 points on the Denver Broncos just a few weeks ago and have yet to be held below 350 yards of offense per game.
Sunday's game could be a shootout.
We'll see if the Eagles do their throwback uniforms proud.
