The door to a possible trade involving Houston Texans star quarterback Deshaun Watson appears to have been opened a bit...

For weeks, the Texans have reportedly been asking a significantly high price for their franchise quarterback (who isn't playing and has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than 20 women).

Watson continues to want out. However, due to the high asking price, it's been difficult to imagine the Texans finding a suitable trade partner.

Until now, that is. According to a report from FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer, the Texans are starting to lower their asking price for Watson.

A trade partner could be emerging, too.

The Miami Dolphins are seen by many as the most-logical trade destination for the former Clemson Tigers star.

Fans remain skeptical, though. "How can you even confidently trade for him though with all the off the field," one fan asked. "The most Dolphins thing ever will be they trade for Watson, a week later something comes out and he’s put on the exempt list, Tua becomes star somewhere else," another fan joked. Those are fair points. However, the Dolphins could be pretty desperate. They drafted Tua Tagovailoa in the first round, though he remains a big question mark.

The Dolphins are 1-1 on the season. If Watson was traded to Miami - and remained eligible to play - the AFC East franchise could make a serious run at the division.

For now, though, it's just speculation. Still, it feels a bit more real than it has in recent weeks.
