The Green Bay Packers locked up the No. 1 seed in the NFC, allowing the team to sit back and relax during Wild Card weekend.

Green Bay earned the league's best record this season without a few of the team's best players. Now, as the team gears up to host the San Francisco 49ers this weekend, many of those players are back.

The Packers released a practice report on Tuesday afternoon and there were more than a few names who finally returned. Star corner Jaire Alexander, and pass rushers Za’Darius Smith and Whitney Mercilus were among those who returned to practice this week.

Green Bay managed to earn the No. 1 seed without them for much of the season. With a playoff game coming up, though, the team is getting healthy at just the right time.

Fans reacted to the latest Packers practice report.

"MVS and Sullivan back at work, fantastic news," one fan said.

"Approaching week 20 and the Packers are finally healthy," another fan said.

"Really nice to see MVS back out there. That’s great," another fan said.

A healthy and well-rested Green Bay team could be bad news for the rest of the NFC. However, fans all know what happened the last time the Packers and 49ers met in the playoffs.

San Francisco routed Green Bay in the NFC title game before falling to Kansas City in the Super Bowl.

Can Aaron Rodgers and company get their revenge?
