The Cincinnati Bengals have life heading into halftime.

Cincinnati was trailing Kansas City by 18 points late in the second quarter, but a big touchdown from Samaje Perine and a huge stop by the Bengals defense made it an 11-point game heading into the halftime break.

It's Chiefs 21, Bengals 10 heading into the third quarter.

The Chiefs surprisingly went for a touchdown late, despite there only being five seconds on the clock. This was a mistake, as Patrick Mahomes held onto the ball for too long before Tyreek Hill was tackled at the 1-yard line.

Mahomes had been flawless up until that point, but that was a pretty big mistake late in the second quarter.

It gives the Bengals life.

We'll have to see if that mistake ends up costing Mahomes and the Chiefs.

The second half will begin shortly on CBS.
