Despite appearing in countless Aflac commercials together, it's never really been known what Alabama head coach Nick Saban thinks of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders. So on Wednesday he decided to clear that air.

Appearing on the Paul Finebaum Show, Saban made it clear that he has "a tremendous amount of respect for Deion Sanders." He praised Coach Prime for how he's marketed the team and how he's gotten the team to play. Ultimately, he feels that Sanders is "a really good coach."

"I have a tremendous amount of respect for Deion Sanders," Saban said, via TMZ. "First, he's a great person and he's done a great job of marketing the program to create a lot of national interest.

"But I see their team playing well on the field. They play with discipline, they do a good job of executing, they've been able to score points, playing decent on defense. So all those things, to me, are indicators that he's a really good coach."

That's extremely high praise coming from the best coach of the modern era.

In no time at all, Deion Sanders has gotten Colorado more relevance than they've had since the 1990s.

While their undefeated run won't last forever, it seems likely that the team will only continue to improve the longer Sanders has to build his program.
