The official College Football Playoff rankings will change this week. ESPN's Paul Finebaum has already altered his own list.

Finebaum appeared on SportsCenter this morning to discuss the playoff chase. Oregon is out of his top four after losing at Utah, just like they will fall from the committee's rankings on Tuesday.

In their place is Cincinnati, which beat SMU and took another step toward becoming the first-ever non-Power 5 playoff participant.

“Yes, they are in the top 4, and I think they will be that way Tuesday night for the first time ever," Finebaum said, via SDS. "They deserve it. They played very well, while other teams have been crashing and burning.”

Alabama dropped in Finebaum's rankings from No. 2 to No. 3, while Ohio State switched spots with the Crimson Tide. The Buckeyes also benefitted from Oregon's loss, as the Ducks are still the only team to beat the Big Ten favorite this season.

“Yes, that Oregon game no longer matters," Finebaum said. "You won the big stage yesterday, big time. It was an unbelievable win for the Buckeyes. They go to Ann Arbor this weekend.”

Georgia, of course, remains No. 1. The Bulldogs are seemingly locked into a playoff berth, even if they lose in the SEC Championship Game next month.

The updated College Football Playoff top 25 rankings will be unveiled Tuesday night. There are only three rankings reveals left this season.
