Paul George Has Already Changed His Opinion On Victor Wembanyama
As the basketball world waits with bated breath to see Victor Wembanyama make his NBA regular season debut, one of his previous critics now believes he's destined for superstardom.
During his most recent podcast, Los Angeles Clippers superstar Paul George said he was ready to take back all of his previous critiques of Wenbayama after seeing him dominate the preseason. He now believes that Wenbayama does things that no one can stop and boldly declared that "at worst" he can become one of the league's top shot-blockers.
"I take back everything I said. I thought it was gonna be tougher than he's making it look. He euro'd without taking a dribble from the free-throw line, flushed it. No one's stopping that," George said.
"Worst case, he's going to be one of the best-shot blockers. Like he's going to affect the game… It's going to be different. You're gonna have guys real methodical like people really like thinking about it, how they gonna get their shot off."
Victor Wembanyama will be making his NBA regular season debut on Wednesday in a home game against the Dallas Mavericks.
After averaging 19.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.7 blocks, and 1 steal per game per game over four preseason games, the hype has not died down in the slightest.
Will Wembanyama dominate in his debut?
