On Tuesday afternoon, Saints coach Sean Payton had unfortunate to news to share with the media involving Taysom Hill. The versatile offensive weapon suffered an injury in Sunday's game against the Titans.

Payton told reporters that Hill got "nicked up" during this past weekend's game. It's unclear how serious Hill's latest ailment is at this time, though.

Although the Saints didn't use Hill nearly as much as fans thought they would on Sunday, he still had two pass attempts, three carries and a reception.

The Saints should have an update on Hill's status on Wednesday when they release their initial injury report for Week 11.

This is the second time this season that Hill is dealing with an injury.

Earlier this season, Taysom Hill missed three weeks due to a concussion. He recently revealed that he doesn't remember the hit that caused the concussion or anything that happened for the next 45 minutes.

“I remember the route, I remember the play. That’s about it,” Hill said. “I never went unconscious, but, yeah, I don’t remember it. There was like a 45-minute window that I don’t remember. I remember being in the locker room, was the first thing. It’s not an ideal situation to have a hit like that and then have a gap of memory. Any time you’re dealing with head injuries it’s a scary, scary thing.”

Hopefully, the latest injury that Hill is dealing with isn't related to his recent concussion.
