With Tom Brady set to retire from the National Football League - allegedly, anyway - what will his longtime tight end, Rob Gronkowski, do?
Many have long thought that Gronkowski will only play with Brady. He came out of retirement and forced a trade from New England to Tampa Bay, after all.
However, Gronkowski has yet to make an official decision on 2021.
"What a ride it’s been. Grateful to the Bucs for giving me an opportunity to play another year. To my teammates, thank you for giving everything you had. The sweat we shed & memories made will never be forgotten," he said following the Divisional Round loss to the Rams.
If Brady does retire, it's tough to see Gronkowski returning to Tampa Bay. But could he decide to play elsewhere?
There's been some speculation that Gronkowski, an upstate New York native, could make a return to Buffalo.
Bills fans are somewhat mixed on the idea, though.
Perhaps the Bills would be able to get over that, though.
Buffalo is coming off a Divisional Round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Josh Allen and Co. will look to make a run at the Super Bowl next year.
