Trish Stratus Still Looks Amazing In Night Of Champions Win
WWE legend Trish Stratus continues to prove that age is just a number for certain greats in professional wrestling.
In today's WWE's Night of Champions pay-per-view event, the wrestling legend took on "The Man" Becky Lynch in a match many months in the making. At the age of 47, Stratus looked as sharp inside the ring as she had in her 20s and 30s.
Granted, Stratus got an assist from Zoey Stark to propel her to the victory. But over the course of the match she displayed that trademark athleticism that initially marked her as one of the greats in the mid-2000s.
After the match, Stratus took to social media to share a stunning photo of herself in her black and purple ring attire. Having cemented herself as the GOAT of women's wrestling she had one simple message.
"The (GOAT) > The Man," she wrote. The post is going viral with over 28,000 likes on Instagram and another 11,000 likes on Twitter.
Trish Stratus made her return to in-ring competing in 2019 after 13 years in retirement and she quickly showed that even in her 40s she can hang with athletes half of her age.
She is a seven-time WWE women's champion, a Hardcore champion and was inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
And she's still going strong.
