'Landman' Has Made Its Opinion On Bud Light Extremely Clear

Taylor Sheridan's newest show, "Landman," is a hit on Paramount Plus.

The new show, which stars Billy Bob Thornton, focuses on the oil industry in West Texas. Jon Hamm, Demi Moore, Ali Larter and Michelle Randolph also star. According to releases from Paramount, the show is already the biggest in the streaming platform's history.

Sheridan's shows haven't been afraid to take political stances, from "Yellowstone" to "Mayor of Kingstown" to "Lioness."

The TV and movie guru has made his opinion on "Bud Light" extremely clear with its latest episode.

In Episode 7 of the show, Billy Bob Thornton's character makes his way into a bar. He's greeted by a waitress, who lets everyone know that the bar is having a special on Bud Light.

Waitress: "We're having a special on Bud Light."

Tommy: "I bet you are."

Dale: "How's that working out for you?"

Waitress: "Like a popcorn fart in church."

Bud Light has become a punching bag for the right in recent years, following a March Madness endorsement scandal with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The light beer brand remains one of the most popular in the country, especially during football season, though it continues to be interesting that it takes hits from those on the right.

Sheridan's "Landman" clearly wasn't afraid to take a shot at the popular beer brand with its latest episode.

It'll be interesting to see how Bud Light continues to rebound from everything that's happened over the past year.

Sheridan's "Landman," meanwhile, airs on Sunday nights on Paramount Plus.
