The '2024 Instagram Model Of The Year' Has Been Announced

There's a lot of talent on Instagram these days.

For years, women across the world have been building up massive followings on Instagram, posting content like swimsuit photos, shopping hauls, cooking tips and more. Less than 1 percent of people on Instagram have more than one million followers. In fact, the exact number is reportedly 0.76 percent. It's a select group, to be sure.

So, who stood out the most in 2024?

Outkick recently named its 2024 Instagram Model of the Year, counting down from No. 20 to No. 1

What better to recap the year than with a "Top Instagram Models Of 2024" list? The OutKick Culture Department couldn’t think of any, so here we are. We're going to go through 20 of the best content producers on the social media app. Are there more than 20 Instagram models who belong on such an esteemed list as "The Women Who Won The Year?"

The top model should come as little surprise.

Sydney Thomas on Instagram.

Sydney Thomas and her friends.

The No. 1 pick is none other than viral sensation Sydney Thomas. Most people probably didn't have a clue who Thomas was as recently as October. But the University of Alabama student blew up during the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, when she worked it as a ring girl.

Thomas has since become a viral sensation, getting close to one million followers on Instagram and sitting courtside at NBA games.

"No. 1 on this year's list was an easy one in my book. It's Sydney Thomas. The Alabama student was appearing in Screencaps before Netflix introduced her to the rest of the world," Outkick wrote.

"Thomas is now setup nicely to ride her 2024 success into becoming one of the biggest social media stars of 2025. Best of luck to her and a happy New Year to all of you."

It's been an impressive couple of months from Thomas, that's for sure. We'll have to see if she can truly capitalize on her viral fame from the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight and reach true social media superstardom in 2025.
