Hurricane Helene has destroyed billions worth of property across the southeastern part of the United States.

The Category 4 storm, which made landfall in the United States last Thursday, flooded many cities and towns across Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, among other places. More than 100 people have died and millions are currently without homes. Supplies are currently being rushed into Florida and North Carolina, as recovery and rescue efforts are underway.

People in Florida had advanced warning of the storm, though everyone has different circumstances and many people often choose to ride it out.
