Former WWE Star Reveals Deion Sanders Was Her 'First Crush'

Colorado coach Deion Sanders learned this week that he was a WWE legend's first celebrity crush.

On the latest episode of "We Got Time Today," Sanders was able to chat with Nikki and Brie Bella. They had an incredible run in the WWE as The Bella Twins. While they were quite popular on "Totally Divas," we can't dismiss how dominant Nikki was in the ring for a certain period of time. The two-time WWE Divas Champion held the belt for over 300 days during her second reign. The Bella Twins were eventually inducted into the WWEl Hall of Fame in 2021.

Before becoming a professional wrestler, Brie considered herself a big football fan. Although her family was from Philadelphia, she had a massive crush on "Prime Time."

When Brie revealed that Sanders was her first celebrity crush, he got up from his chair to give her a hug.

"You want to know something crazy? Listen to this. This is for real. I was looking through a box of my childhood photos, I’m like, I need to find a picture of me in Deion’s jersey," Brie said. "But my grandfather, full-blown Italian from South Philly, so we’re diehard Philadelphia Eagles fans. It was very hard on my family because they’re like, ‘Wait, she has Deion Sanders’ Dallas Cowboys jersey, and the fact that you were my crush, could have got me kicked out of my family."

Brie also admit that she had a poster of Sanders on her wall. It was sandwiched between posters of Shania Twain and Gwen Stefani.

Later in the show, Brie was asked why she had a crush on Sanders. She replied, "You kinda had that bad boy attitude."

Some people on social media will probably jump to conclusions over Brie's remarks, but it's nothing more than a fun story.

Besides, Brie is happily married to fellow wrestler Bryan Danielson. They've been married since 2014 and have two children together.

"So many beautiful memories we’ve made in the last decade," she said on their 10-year anniversary. "So many laughs and tears. Through all the changes we’ve experienced together, I’ve always been blessed with your support. I couldn’t ask for a better partner in life. You’ve made me a better person and you always bring sunshine into every room you walk in. Thank you for filling my life with happiness. Love you to Neptune."

As for Sanders, he's simply being himself. The head coach of the Buffaloes is as charismatic as it gets.
