Cardale Jones never lost a start in college and he has yet to lose a start as an XFL quarterback. He never lost a game with Ohio State, never got a start in the NFL, and is 2-0 so far with the D.C. Defenders. But one rough quarter against the L.A. Wildcats today could put him in danger of suffering that first pro loss.

During today's game in Los Angeles, Jones had about as bad of a first quarter as a quarterback can have. While he only threw a handful of passes, he didn't do anything good with them.

Jones finished the first quarter with one completion for 20 yards. But he also had two interceptions, the second of which led to a Wildcats touchdown.

L.A. leads 14-0 in the second quarter.

Along with PJ Walker, Jones has been one of the standout quarterbacks in the early weeks of the XFL.

The former national championship-winning quarterback from Ohio State lead the XFL in passing yards heading into Week 3.

Suffice it to say, he's carved a nice niche for himself in the XFL in the first quarter of the season.

He's certainly come a long way since spending the last few years as a backup bouncing around the NFL. A strong finish to the year could result in another chance to shine in the pros.
