Johnny Manziel isn't shying away from letting his true feelings be heard. On Saturday morning, he shared a message on Twitter that was addressed for XFL Commissioner Oliver Luck. It sounds like the former Heisman Trophy winner wants to join the newest football league.

"Oliver Luck. If ya wanna boost your ratings to another level just send me the contract tomorrow and we're in there," Manziel wrote on Twitter. "Like I said YEARS ago...XFL2020 give the people what they want."

A few hours after sending that tweet, Manziel actually deleted his account. As you'd expect, no one really knows why the former first-round pick decided to tweet at Luck and then delete his social media account.

There's no denying the fact that Manziel would add another level of excitement to the XFL. He still has a large following because of his days at Texas A&M and would immediately be the biggest name the XFL has to offer.

Manziel tried to revitalize his career with the Alliance of American Football. That league didn't last long though due to financial issues.

Back in December, Luck had an interesting comment to make about Manziel, saying "Johnny has his own history, and we have coaches from the CFL who have seen him close up."

The XFL hasn't showed much interest in Manziel in recent memory, but perhaps that'll change in the future.

Do you think we'll see Manziel in the XFL?
